PLANTING

We take harvested seed through a meticulous step-by-step process of cleaning, dehulling, classifying and cold pressing.

On-site packaging with customized options to suit customers’ needs from bulk totes to small retail formats.

Distributing

We help manage our customers’ warehousing footprint by delivering weekly to our Ontario customers.

PLANTING

Selecting the best non-GMO hybrid seeds is the initial step in creating our exceptional oil. We pay close attention to our soils, meticulously monitoring their health and stability through practices like crop rotations and cover crops. This ensures the seeds receive top-notch care right from the beginning.

CULTIVATING

We keep a close eye on our plants’ health and growth stages by walking the fields and with our fancy high-tech drones. We also pay attention to the bees and observe their activity during pollination. All these efforts are crucial in helping us make important decisions that impact the quality of our oils.

HARVESTING

This is definitely our favourite time of the year! At this stage, we start by collecting sample seeds for testing to ensure the crop meets the standards we’ve set for our mill. From there, the rest of the crop is harvested, then carefully prepared for short-term and long-term storage.

MILLING & PRESSING

Our oil mill is located right here on the farm. During the milling process, we gently extract the oil from our seeds through cold pressing, ensuring it's never heated above 115ºF. This captures the unique essence of our terroir in the taste profile of our premium virgin oils.

PACKAGING

We improve our carbon footprint by bottling and packaging our products on-site, ensuring food safety and traceability. Additionally, this approach guarantees that the oils maintain their natural flavours and characteristics long after they are bottled.

DISTRIBUTION

We handle our own distribution, which both reduces our carbon footprint and ensures timely deliveries. Each route is carefully planned to be multi-purpose, efficient and minimize use of resources.
